What a lovely brunch. Sorry ruined the meal presentation, a bit too eager to get stuck in! Really tasty, great value, lovely staff, ever-changing decoration in a lovely venue... what more could we want? 100% recommendation.

Best lunch ever! I eat regularly at Toast and cannot recommend them enough. I love it when they have Greek stuff on the menu, especially the Rosto. I also love the chilli bowl. The servings are generous and the attention to detail is really impressive for a cafe. Everyone raves about the crispy cheese on their sandwiches for example! Not only is the food great but the staff are really lovely and accommodating.

So glad my friend and I discovered this place. We were visiting Herne Bay and were looking for somewhere to have breakfast/brunch as I'm gluten free. Read the reviews which were really good and we were not disappointed. Good portions of cooked breakfast, which lasted us most of the day! Would absolutely recommend and will now go every time I visit!

What a brilliant little eatery in Herne Bay! We popped in for coffee and tea, and we really enjoyed what they offered. The menu is replete with toasties, smoothies, cakes and sandwiches. Staff are friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Cannot wait to return. Highly recommended.

Staying down in Herne bay for the weekend and after a short walk, found this gem for some brunch. Food: the selection of food is varied. I had the 'all in' sandwich and it was delicious. Plenty of filling and good quality products. My partner had the avocado with bacon on sourdough toast and said it was delicious. Their coffee is lost sheep coffee and also very nice. Atmosphere: a couple of rooms you can sit in. The tables and chairs are rustic but comfy. There are handmade paintings hanging all around you with members of the public coming in to admire them. Would definitely recommend and visit again next time we are in Herne bay.

I gave them cash not card as I am respecting their interest but did they care enough to do the same?.. I liked the tiger bread gf toast and real butter and gf marmite. I am in a room where it is not waitress service so I get to my last piece of toast and I've not enough butter so I take to my feet and walk to the counter to ask for more. They were insulted I could tell. They made sure they got their own back on me. I only needed a smiggin more, I certainly wasn't asking for what I got (let's just say it wasn't what was originally offered) Asking for more is not a sign of being ungrateful. It means we are all different and like varying degrees of things as one's palette dictates. Lose the western Oliver Twist workhouse mentality and adopt the Italian hugging culture that "more" be a sign of praise and the height of reciprocal satisfaction. Don't tar everyone with the same brush. I did not ask for more hot water for my teapot although you probably thought that was the next thing I'd ask for after the butter request. When I went to pay £2.50 for another pot of tea the lady thought I hadn't paid at all. That is how memorable my previous settlement payment with shiny coins I'd just left the bank with was. Why do I bother I ask myself? On a huge plus the owner did go out of his way to ensure I had gf marmite. And I had the opportunity to take what was leftover with me as he'd gone to such effort. I felt I had to take the leftover leftover spread and fed it between two complimentary biscotti biscuits to the seagulls in the car park outside. They were more than happy with a lot of what they didn't ask for and I will take my own butter IF I go there again.

Very lovely small indie-cafe space with lots of character. Gallery and event space had some very nice comic/satire work when I visited. Ryan and the team, are friendly, welcoming and make an excellent smoothie (and are generous with top-ups) for a sunny day. Nice menu options, and home baked goods I'll need to get back to sample.

Food was absolutely lovely, the burger and chips was one of the best I've had, the atmosphere and interior seems odd being a cross between a gallery and a cafe however you're normally always served the best food in places that don't have a flashy exterior. Staff were lovely and happy to help, we didn't need to ask for anything. The price was more than reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
